Tocmai ce au fost anunțate nominalizările la Premiile Emmy 2018, gală ce va avea loc pe 17 septembrie, la Microsoft Theater din Los Angeles, și toată lumea vorbește despre o premieră în istoria Premiilor Emmy: Netflix, un serviciu de streaming, a adunat mai multe nominalizări decât orice alt canal TV. Producțiile Netflix au obținut 112 nominalizări, fiind urmate îndeaproape de titlurile HBO (108).
